The Advertising Club of India hosted the inaugural edition of the Marquee Awards. Presented by News18 India, powered by Colors and MTV and partnered by One India, the Marquee Awards saw the entire marketing fraternity come together to recognise brands for their excellence in marketing. About 750 invites were sent to the CEOs, CMOs, agency heads & stalwarts from the advertising, marketing & media industry. A red carpet was rolled out for the guests who were snapped by the paparazzi. As guests settled down, a voice over introduced Mr. Harris Thajab (Chairman of the Ad Asia Organising Committee) who addressed the guests about Asia’s largest advertising congress. The evening commenced with the invocation of God’s segment through a live recital of Ganesh Vandana by Ameya Date and Maithli-finalists from the reality show Rising Star. This was accompanied by live speed painting of a portrait of Lord Ganesha by Vilas Nayak that complimented the occasion.
Wizcraft conceptualized and executed the Audi A5 media drive. A VR gear was given to the media as part of the briefing & invitation to the media drive at Alila Fort, Jaipur. A drive manual was placed in each car for the drivers to know all about the car, necessary directions and way to reach the Fort from the Airport. A GOBO was set up at the fort which displayed the Audi A5 logo.
Executed a transformational conference for Fujitsu and its customers. Reached out and seeked the right audience from across various industry verticals to create a powerful communication plan/campaign. Created the urge & need for industries to attend the conference. The format of how conferences are done in general was transformed & an experience for Fujitsu customers was created so that they keep coming back for more. Wizcraft reached out to 1747 unique companies & out of those, 1518 attended the event across the three cities of Mumbai, Delhi & Bengaluru. The attendees took to twitter to talk about their experience at the event. The hashtag #FujitsuWT made it to the trending topics of that day. The idea here was to create a holistic experience for all the Fujitsu customers who attended the event. Fujitsu wanted to reach to its customers by engaging them in conversations along with knowledge sessions. The entire conference saw multiple innovative engagements from the wish tree, tweet café, selfie sling shot, giant puzzles, live candy poll station and a Lego city.
Product launch event for MRF Perfinza , one of the most prestigious companies in the tyre manufacturing segment in the country. The event was nothing less than perfect as it was the launch of MRF Perfinza, a tyre specially designed for luxury sedans. The product was rolled out to the media in the small but growing luxury car space. The launch sequence was an ensemble of seamless acts beginning with a breath taking dance performance by dance troupe MJ5 that lead into the reveal of the brand ambassador-Legendary Cricketer AB De Villiers. This was followed by an augmented reality sequence where the Perfinza tyre made its grand entry through the audience onto stage leading into the physical product unveil. Ace commentator Harsha Bhogle hosted the show and also had an candid conversation with the AB De Villiers.
Japan External Trade Organisation held a conference on 24th May at AFDB’s Annual Meeting held at Mahatma Mandir – Gandhinagar (22th to 26th May 2017). Wizcraft arranged & managed the conference with collaterals & catering for the Japanese client. The event was attended by over 500 delegates.
PayPal Editors' Breakfast Meet was held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai on the 8th of November. PayPal is an online platform to send & receive money at ease. At the event, the domestic online payment operations was launched in the Indian market. The objective was to create a buzz about the brand. The event was attended by media & the internal leadership team of PayPal. The company MD & the GM addressed the media.
Wizcraft’s association with RiderMania has been since its inception, this was the 7th consecutive smoothly executed show. This was a turnkey project for Wizcraft where Planning & Venue Layout, Creative Conceptualization, Technical, Sound, Light, Video & Power, Branding & Logistics, Show Management, Security Management was all handled. The event saw over 7500 bikers riding from all over the India, gathered at Hiltop, Vagator, Goa. The venue was divided into various zones like Registration, Parking & Activity Area, Custom Bike Display Area, Café & Lounge, Small Concert Stage with Food & Merchandise Stall, Dirt Track Race Area, Main Concert Arena. On day 3 of the event – the crowd witnessed the launch of 2 new bikes from RE. The concert had a major line-up right from Benny Dayal to Karsh Kale, Reggae Rajhas to Divine and many others. The whole event was made cashless through RFID bands. The event saw expert dialogues on the topic of biking, stand-up comedians, beat boxers, bike racers and other fun competitions
The big draw was the launch of 2 new bikes. Mr Siddharth Lal the MD facilitated this launch via an automated curtain reveal mechanism with bikes displayed on motorised turn tables.

EasyDay Launch event was held on the 21st of November at the Grand Hyatt,Mumbai. The event brief was to unveil Future Group’s new retail chain – EasyDay to the media.
EasyDay is a reimagined neighbourhood food and grocery store that is driven by local communities and serves as a modern, personal and Indian shopping experience. For the local community of loyal members, it is your Naye Andaaz Wale Apne Pados ki Dukaan. Future Retail Limited brings EasyDay as a part of the evolution of Retail 3.0. The show experienced the presence of digital mentors from various platforms exchanging their views upon how the world is moving on to Digitisation and its impact on consumers. A panel discussion was held with these viewpoints, allowing the audience to experience the exchange of thoughts from the leaders themselves. The event also saw Future Group showcasing the power of their brand through an extensive experience zone for the guests and media.
26th November, 2008, nine years ago the most cowardly attack was launched on the decency of the Indian people, its democratic principles and the grace of our civilization. The annual memorial was a homage to the innocent and brave who died defending our values, they are our martyrs. We will never forget them.
Fear, Anger, Courage & Unity : The memorial was divided into four sections for thematic clarity and not as rigid boundaries. It seamlessly merged and encapsulated the emotions as the incident first happened, unfolded and resolved. This year, was the second edition of 26/11: Stories of Strength, The Indian Express & Facebook India to bring us the inspiring stories of 26 young hearts. The evening witnessed some of the most heart-warming experiences and recitals by Amruta Fadnavis, children from the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, Prasoon Joshi, Suresh Wadkar, Mame Khan, Priyanka Barve and Amit Trivedi. Among the speakers at the event, were Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command Vice-Admiral Girish Luthra and Divya Salaskar, daughter of slain encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar. Also, in a rare interaction, Sachin Tendulkar was seen in conversation with former marine commando (MARCOS) Praveen Kumar, who took five bullets and lost an ear during the operation at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Devendra Fadnavis and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan paid tribute to the families of the brave. This initiative was undertaken to remind ourselves that the unity and courage of our Nation will always defeat the barbaric ideology of hatred and violence. The event, a social gathering for Tanla Solution Limited was held for 2 days on the 27th & 28th November 2017. The event included performances by various artists including a saxophonist, harpist, flutist and violinist. Fun Awards and performances by family and friends added a lot of joy to the event. DJ Noel made the event a memorable one as everybody shook a leg to his beats. The event setup was done with flowers and candles. The areas decorated were - Entrance 1 & 2, Pathway, Main event area, Stage and Coffee Lounge. Customized buffet tables and bars were also made. Architectural lighting was done to highlight trees surrounding the venue and to beautify the whole area.
The CEO of Microsoft, Mr. Satya Nadella visited India on 6 & 7 November, 2017 with the purpose of promoting his new book ‘Hit Refresh’. The tech giant set foot into the Hyderabad Microsoft campus on 6th November, 2017 to be a part of a talk show hosted by NDTV and chaired by the famous journalist Dr Pronnoy Roy. As the main focus of the CEO’s visit to India was the promotion of his book ‘Hit Refresh’, Satya Nadella spoke in length about Artificial Intelligence or AI, empathy, Hololens and the overall transformation of Microsoft. The talk show arena also included an installation of the ‘Hit Refresh’ book where the audience witnessed live doodle activity carried out by artist Rohit Soni. The talk show was followed by a Q&A session where Mr. Nadella interacted with the employees and customers where he spoke about his book ‘ Hit Refresh’ and also described his journey from Hyderabad to Redmond where he started his journey with Microsoft.
The Swiss watch brand Longines launched its store in Express Avenue Mall, Chennai on 16th Nov 2017. The chief guest of the event was Ms. Hansika Motwani , a well-known Telugu actress. The launch event saw a lot of local press coverage.
Wizcraft was appointed as the event manager and consultants for the 45th Annual Meeting of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes (RSSDI) in India held at Bhubaneswar from 2nd to 5th November 2017. This was one of the largest medical conferences that the Wizcraft team has handled till date. Wizcraft scope of work for RSSDI included end to end solutions, consultation, event management and co-ordination of the project
On November 7th in Spain and November 9th in Moscow, Xiaomi showcased all their products and launched their phone. Xiaomi launched the IMi A1 and Mi Mix Phone in Spain and the Mi Mix Phone in Moscow. An experience zone was created where all Xiaomi products like Mi Power Bank, Mi Scooter, Mi Projector, 4K Camera, Mi Band 2 were displayed.
The presentation was done by Xiaomi CEO Xiang Wang and the Director of Product Management and Marketing, Xiaomi Global Donovan Sung addressed the Media and Mi Fans. Xiaomi was founded in 2010 by serial entrepreneur Lei Jun.
The objective of the event was to showcase Swiss Re’s accelerator program to their leadership team and key stakeholders from around the globe. Wizcraft curated the experience, from the stem. A small drum-circle team building activity was also orchestrated and set up a market stall area in their office, with custom made backdrops and visual aids, where they could present their cutting edge research in the field of reinsurance.
